Could you be our next Church Treasurer?
The Treasurer is a friendly and trusted volunteer who helps look after the church's finances, so everything can run smoothly. The role involves keeping straightforward records of money coming in and going out, paying bills, helping plan a budget, and sharing simple updates with the PCC. It involves around one hour per week. With support and guidance available, the Treasurer works alongside the vicar, churchwardens and PCC to help use the church's resources well, making a real and valued contribution to the life and mission of the church.
In practice, at Ascension, the creation of reports for PCC and Annual Reporting has been outsourced to a third party, which means commitment is a lot lighter than most parishes.

Dadvengers are a toddler and baby group for Dads, who are there to support fathers on their journey through parenthood. They are hosting a session every second Saturday morning at Ascension. Any Dads and toddler's welcome.
